My Project

Our school participates in the Battle of the Books. These materials will give my students access to the novels (All About Sam and Terror at the Zoo among others) on the list. This will allow my students to be able to read in the classroom, and check them out from the classroom instead of waiting on other libraries. This will also allow students from different backgrounds and accessibility levels to participate in the even. Providing a more balanced accessibility level.

Every students deserves the chance to find their love of learning.

These books will also allow for students to read the sequel of a book they find interesting without having to go out and buy it for themselves. In addition the math tools (tens frames and flip chart) will help my students be able to visually see and manipulate the math concepts they will learn about this year. Helping to close the gap between practice and application skills.
