This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While reading based on the curriculum is important, it is equally important for students to sit on the carpet and simply listen to a story as children. These stories range from funny tales to understanding history to exploring social emotional concepts.

Books open students to an entirely new world!

Help me bring these experiences to the students in my class. While sitting on the carpet hearing these stories, students are building listening comprehension skills while fostering a positive classroom environment. My hope is to get each student excited about reading!
