This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are wonderful learners and love to experience new things. They all come from different countries and cultures. Also, our school is a Title I school and most of our students come from a very low socioeconomic status. Some of our students have recently moved to this country, therefore many of the learning materials can be exciting for them.
Throughout the year we use dry erase boards and markers as part of our lessons.
Students use dry erase boards to answer individual questions as the teacher ask questions. Using dry erase boards can be a challenge since many students leave markers open and they dry off very fast. Markers can be expensive and can be messy at times. These boogie boards can be a great tool to use and help students stay focused on the lesson and not on remembering to close their markers.
