Boogie Boarding in Math

Help me give my students Boogie Boards to cut down on markers.

My Students

The students at my school are hard-working and happy. This is my first year at a new school after 12 years of teaching, so I have fun learning the routines of a new school and setting up a different classroom just focusing on teaching math.

I do my best to make sure each student feels welcome, loved, and excited to come to my class each day!

Middle school can be a tricky time to navigate, but I always hope my classroom is a place where they feel accepted and successful, whether they are in my online class or coming to school in person. I believe in every one of them!

My Project

Students need to show their work in math. It's also helpful as a teacher to see what they are writing and with these Boogie Boards, I will be able to see what they are working on and help students find and fix mistakes. Having these will help students have a clean place to write and not need markers, whiteboards, or papers. Markers get damaged or dried out easily and the classroom sets of whiteboards get extra doodling happening that won't happen with a Boogie Board and the pen. They can be held up in class for me to check work like a whiteboard or used as scratch paper on a student's desk.
