This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Providing students with a boogie board for math and writing practice will help cut down on marker waste and provide my students a quicker way to engage in learning during whole group and independent practice. Each day we engage in learning surrounding math practice. Each day we have missing markers and erasers. It takes up a large amount of learning time to transition when we have to find or replace these materials. Using a boogie board will eliminate the need for markers and erasers. Students will be able to quickly begin working on their skills with a smaller amount of time spent on finding materials.
