"Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle." This quote hits very close to home with me because it describes my students in so many ways. My classroom is made up of 20 students who are all unique and special in their own way. That is what makes our classroom not just a classroom, but a family. I try my best to encourage my students to always believe in themselves no matter the obstacles that they face inside and outside of the classroom. These special friends of mine come to school every single day wanting to learn and push themselves to the next level. I hope that I inspire them to believe in themselves and everything that they are because they continue to inspire me day after day.
My Project
If you have ever had the chance to step into our classroom, it is a very relaxed and fun environment. Flexible seating allows them to have choice and extend their love for learning by choosing a spot that best suits them. Keeping students engaged, motivated and allowing them to use their voice are all essential components in making sure that my students are successful in our classroom and in life. The wobble stools and exercise balls will allow my students to have continuous movement while learning, encourage them to use their voice, and keep them engaged. My students have already shown so much positive progress with incorporating a small amount of flexible seating within our classroom. Please help give ALL of my friends the opportunity to keep their bodies and brains busy!!
