My Project
COVID-19 has greatly impacted the students at Boltz Middle School. Returning to in-person learning has been a huge adjustment for students. During the COVID-19 lockdown, students were completing all classwork using their district provided laptops. Now that we have returned to in-person learning, students are required to have more school supplies than previously. Due to many students' social and economical standings, bringing these supplies to school can be a challenge. My goal in starting this project is to help provide students with the basic materials (markers, pencils, highlighters, etc.) that they need to be successful in school. This will allow students to focus on their learning and not feel stressed about the supplies they may or may not be able to bring.
This classroom project was brought to life by Colorado Department of Education.
