Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m excited to support middle school students feel energized, motivated, and ready to grow. While I’m getting to know my students, I’m already planning ways to help them stay active, focused, and cared for throughout the school day. I believe that movement, wellness, and consistent nourishment can play a powerful role in building student confidence and success.
This project will bring healthy, nutritious snacks into our space — including protein-packed options and hydration drinks.
These snacks will support students before and after activities, movement breaks, and other activities during the school day. When students are nourished, they are better able to participate fully, stay engaged, and feel good in their bodies.
This project will help students build strong habits around wellness, fueling their bodies for movement and learning. Having access to energizing snacks ensures no student has to tap out of learning or movement because they’re hungry or low on energy. Your support helps create a classroom where students feel cared for, supported, and ready to move, grow, and thrive.
