This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During the pandemic, most of our kids spent a lot of their free time playing video games and sitting on their couches. They stopped playing and moving just to sit in front of a screen.

The requested materials and resources will help our children re-activate their bodies and minds; they will play, dance and share together again within the school environment.

They will be able to enjoy group activities again and reconnect with old and new friends. We want to help them wake up again and we are sure that physical movement, recreation and exercise are an integral part of the formation of a child.
