Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have worked in education for over 9 years, and I am finally going to be a certified teacher. I will be a first year teacher on my own. I do not have any supplies and I want to start off strong with my new students. I am in need of an iPad because this will allow me to have uninterrupted learning and quick access to additional online resources I need for my students. I do not have access to a lot of programs the students use because I don't have up-to-date technology. I am in need of newer updated technology so that I can help my students succeed. I want to be able to have additional materials at my finger tips with out interrupting their learning. The students I work with now are in need, and I will have some of them as I begin my new path in teaching. At times, the only thing some students eat is the snacks that I buy. Some cannot eat candy, therefore I try my best to buy snacks that all students can enjoy. I need to be able to give them my full support and aid in their futures where technology will be a major factor.
