My Project
At our school, we are attempting to build an intramurals program for all of our students. Our students are yearning for a sports program. This program will be taught by PE coaches before school and during recess in hopes that they can teach students small- to large-sized team sports.
Intramural sports enhance the academic experience by promoting and reinforcing leadership qualities, teamwork, respect, integrity, and accomplishment within fun competitions.
These sports would consist of soccer, flag football, ultimate frisbee, kickball, lacrosse, strength & conditioning, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, badminton, cornhole, and many more to come.
Getting out and exercising will have a direct effect on students' health and well-being. Students will benefit from this Intramural equipment as it will be great for reducing stress and relieving anxiety that sometimes is brought on from school work or being stuck in a classroom.
Once we obtain the equipment, we can start planning fun lessons and mini games to get them going.
