My Students

The students in our school work hard and try their best! We will be seeing some new challenges in the next few years after our challenging year of remote and hybrid learning due to COVID and the last year and half of my student’s school experiences. These students have battled and come out on top of remote, hybrid, shortened schedule and packet learning this last year.

We ended the year with smiles and finally being together again.

However, these students will be facing new and imaginable challenges in the next few school years. I am sure, they will be optimistic and up for the challenges. We have some of the most amazing students and families in our community.

My Project

I am requesting dry erase boards to help with literacy and math skills. Students will be using boards for whole group, small group, and center work. We do multiple activities in class to create engagement opportunities for all students in reading and math. Students use boards to show progress of understanding the skills and standards being taught.

We do very simple activities such as basic math problems to sequencing events in reading, writing sentences to math word problems, alphabetizing to measurement and telling time.

These and so many other skills are extremely vital in their learning. The boards ensure I can get every student involved at the same time and allow me to see their instant progress or struggle.
