Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is an amazing group of students! They are compassionate and welcoming. This class is coming into 4th grade from being in the same 3rd grade class, and have an incredible sense of community. They all come from different backgrounds and have made great bonds with each other.
This group of students is kind, generous and very helpful.
They are always eager to find out what new concepts they will be learning about. They are respectful and take into consideration the opinions of others. They are awesome kids!
My Project
These different board games will help my students become ready for the real world. Playing these different games with different peers will allow them to develop their own understanding of the way they solve problems.
Board games help children develop their logical and reasoning skills and I want my students to have the opportunity to have fun but also develop their minds.
These board games will allow my students to think about how clearly they give directions, how they communicate with each other, as well as deal with the social-emotional aspect of either winning or losing the game. I want my students to be problem solvers and not be discouraged if they are not always the winner!
