My Project

My students have been asking for board games since I first met them.

Board games are a great way of having students naturally practice turn taking, social skills, patience, and losing or winning with grace.

Autistic people may struggle picking up social ques from others. Playing a game helps reduce the outside social distractions and allows students to focus on the interaction in front of them. This allows them to learn valuable skills that they can take outside of the classroom, as well. With this donation you will be setting the students up for future success!
