Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Preschool-age children love to read and re-read books. Board books are designed to withstand the daily usage from our youngest readers. Giving students access to durable books in our school library is a great way to instill a love of reading. These board books will allow students to come browse our library and check out just like their older peers. The sturdiness of the cardboard will be able to withstand the usage. The titles I have chosen are books that students enjoy and love to have read to them. I plan to place these books in our browsing bins and allow students to use them daily during independent check-out time.
