I teach 2nd grade at an academy in Idaho. Families pursue our school based on our emphasis in STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The students in my classroom are very passionate about science and inquiry based learning.
By nature, they are hands-on learners--always wondering and investigating the world around them!
It is important to keep them continually engaged in their environment, asking questions, seeking out answers, and sharing the new knowledge they acquire through a process we call "The WISE Way."

I want all of my students to feel that pride and excitement. Through Lexia Core 5, student learning will increase so that all students can feel daily accomplishments!
When it comes to English Language Literacy, some of my students are significantly below grade level, while others are at or above. We are in need of a resource that will allow for school and at home practice. Lexia Core5 will differentiate for their varying levels of reading skills, by targeting their area of need and adapting instruction as they move through the program. Lexia Core5 also provides instructional materials for remediation.
