This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Greetings! I am Ms. Amaral, a dedicated middle school teacher. I am excited about the prospect of incorporating Bluetooth speakers into my classroom to better cater to the unique needs of my students. Situated in close proximity to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development complex, our school serves a community where many families face socioeconomic challenges in single-family homes. Given that a significant portion of our student body resides in the government housing project, it is evident to me that these students are deserving beneficiaries of my proposed project.
The inclusion of Bluetooth speakers in our classroom setup aims to elevate the educational experience for my students.
By amplifying the sound of the educational videos we watch on my computer, I intend to address the current issue of inadequate volume that hampers their ability to engage fully with the content. Presently, students struggle to hear the audio clearly from my portable computer, often necessitating replays and resulting in unnecessary time wastage. Additionally, some of our science and history assignments involve cutting and I simply do not have enough scissors for the whole class.
Through this initiative, my primary objective is to enhance student engagement across all lessons, particularly in the field of Science where video resources play a crucial role in reinforcing the concepts being taught and our hands-on projects require cutting.
