it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students in our 6th and 7th grade self-contained classroom are bright, curious, and hardworking—but lately, many of them have been experiencing frequent headaches during the school day. Much of our learning involves using Chromebooks for reading, writing, and research, and I’ve noticed that extended screen time seems to be contributing to their discomfort.
To support their well-being and help them stay focused, I’m requesting blue light blocking glasses for each student.
These protective glasses can reduce eye strain, prevent headaches, and help students feel more comfortable and confident while learning. This small gift would have a big impact on their daily experience at school, and I’m hopeful that with your support, we can create a healthier, more productive classroom environment for everyone.
