This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, every resource is a tool for opportunity, and technology is the key to success. Right now, we're looking to add an internal SATA Blu-ray rewriter drive, an external optical drive enclosure, and blank recordable Blu-ray discs to our desktop computer. These tools will allow us to expand the way we store, share, and showcase students' hard work.

With these resources, we can back up and archive student projects, multimedia presentations, and portfolios in a reliable, long-lasting format.

Whether it's video documentaries, digital art showcases, or interactive presentations, having the ability to burn and share Blu-ray discs ensures my students' work can be preserved and shared with families, scholarship committees, and even future college applications. Additionally, this technology gives my students a chance to learn about digital storage and media production, adding another layer of tech literacy to their skill sets.
