My students need a variety of magnet kits to explore magnetism, books about science content like rocks and forces, and chemical reaction kits, like Blow Your Mind with Science to spark their understanding of science concepts.
My students arrive to school excited and eager to learn. They are curious about their world and love learning through fun, hands-on activities. Our school is in a small rural community filled with students yearning to discover new things. On a daily basis I hear, "I love school!"
Educating a child is all about cooperation, collaboration, and communication.
As a teacher, it is my passion to do whatever I can to give all of my students the opportunity to learn through unique experiences. By collaborating with colleagues, I am interested in creating a unique hands-on experience where the children will learn through cooperative activities with classmates and peers in other classes completing and creating experiments while exploring STEM subjects!
My Project
These science based materials will be used to spark students' learning in STEM lessons. They will explore concepts of magnetism through play and construction. Students will further their understanding through reading and then collaborate design exploratory projects in STEM areas.
The expert was once a beginner.
These tools will assure that my students will become experts by doing hands-on exploration. Even better, they will be engaged while working increasing the chance that they will develop an interest in science, math, and engineering. Together we can brighten their future and provide opportunities for my students to love learning even more than they already do!
