My Project

As we know, feminine care products can be prohibitively expensive, and this financial barrier has become a significant challenge for many of our students. We have observed that students as young as third grade are experiencing their first menstrual cycles, and the lack of access to affordable feminine hygiene products is impacting their attendance and, consequently, hindering their ability to reach their full academic potential.

To support our students and create a more inclusive and conducive learning environment, I am excited to introduce "Project Blooming Bulls" This initiative seeks to provide free feminine hygiene products, including body wipes, menstrual pads, deodorant, toothbrushes, and extra underwear, to our students in need.

Our primary goal is to alleviate the financial burden on families in our community and ensure that every student feels confident and empowered to face a school day, regardless of their menstrual cycle. By addressing this challenge, we aim to enhance attendance rates and, more importantly, enable our students to focus on their education without the distraction or discomfort caused by inadequate access to essential hygiene products.

These materials will be provided at no cost and will be accessible throughout the day for students in need. They will be conveniently located in a readily accessible room, allowing students to take charge of their hygiene.

Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of our students and create a nurturing educational environment where every child can thrive. I
