My Project
My elementary students are curious, energetic, and full of imagination. They love hands-on projects and learn best when they can explore, create, and express themselves through art. Many come from low-income households and don’t have access to art supplies outside of school. Our art room is a safe and joyful space where creativity blossoms.
Help my students bring their creativity to life by creating vibrant 3-D paper flowers!
This hands-on art project builds fine motor skills, spatial thinking, and a love for art. This 3-D paper flower project will teach students to transform simple materials into stunning paper sculptures. Through cutting, folding, rolling, and layering, students will learn to create colorful, life-like paper flowers. This project supports fine motor development, attention to detail, and the joy of seeing their work “bloom” in real life.
To make this possible, we need crepe paper and tissue paper in bright colors, glue, floral wire, and floral tape. These materials will allow each student to experiment with texture, structure, and color as they design their own unique bouquet.
