This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K students represent diverse backgrounds, experiences, risk factors, and reflect a wide range of special needs. They are tiny learners ages four and five, that love reading, investigating, exploring, creating and most of all learning!
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.
They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding artists, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, mathematicians, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful careers!
My Project
At the end of the school year the amount of work the children have completed is full of growth and truly amazing! On the last day of school I send the work home in 2 pocket folders which usually don't hold up well. It would be great to put all of this work together so the children can take it home in a sturdy binder so the children and families can always have a reminder of all the amazing projects we did together.
Help me give each child in my class a binder that will allow them to take home all the great work they completed throughout the school year!
The compilation of work will also include photos of classroom celebrations and will be a reminder of the time the children spent together in Pre-K.
