Block Shelf for Kinder Class

Help me give my students the second block shelf needed to house our building blocks. This is the last piece needed for our block area-a favorite center in our classroom!

My Project

I have 20 Kindergarten students this year who LOVE center time! Our block area is almost 30 years old. The wood is coming apart, and we have had to sand it down several times. Thankfully, we just had a donorschoose funded and received the first block shelf needed. This project will be the second shelf needed to complete our block center.

There are so many skills that are targeted in the block area: fine-motor skills, problem-solving skills, teamwork, design and creativity.

If this project is funded, it will be one step forward in our block area make-over.

This project will benefit not only my current students, but students for years to come. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
