Help me give my students individual sets of base ten blocks. Base ten blocks provide each student with hands-on tools to model multiplication and division, deepening understanding through concrete practice and building confidence in complex math concepts.

My Project

I love how fourth graders approach each day with curiosity, resilience, and a desire to grow. They’re enthusiastic learners who thrive when given opportunities to explore concepts in concrete, hands-on ways. As they move into more challenging math topics like multi-digit multiplication and division, I’ve seen how important it is for them to have tools that make abstract ideas more accessible. All students benefit from visual and tactile supports, and base ten blocks are one of the most effective ways to strengthen their understanding of place value and operations.

With individual sets of base ten blocks, each student will be able to actively engage in problem-solving—building numbers, regrouping, and modeling strategies step by step.

These materials will make math more interactive and meaningful, allowing students to take ownership of their learning. Having a personal set of manipulatives will also boost motivation and participation, especially for students who need repeated, hands-on practice to develop confidence. This project will give every learner the chance to experience success and make sense of math in a way that sticks.

Ms. Rebekah will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by Monday, September 1.
