Block Area Excitement

Help me give my students playdough, Lego people and magna tiles to support Block Area play at choice time.

My Students

My students are creative and enthusiastic about learning. They love to use technology as part of their learning process. It nurtures their curiosity and fuels their well being.

The students I work with each have there own unique personalities and learning style.

They work hard and are always eager to learn.

This program gives children from diverse backgrounds, and low income homes an opportunity to learn and thrive within the Detroit Public School Community District. My energetic students enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore.

My Project

The material that I am asking you to fund will support my face to face (f2f) as well as my virtual students play during choice time.

Due to Covid 19 now more then ever it is important to have enough materials, so that each student can enjoy choice time while practicing social distance while in school.

My online students will also be able to use the material they see their f2f classmates working with. Students will use the playdough to support their pretend play, by making food. Additionally the Magna Tiles will allow student to build their super towers and houses, using Lego mini people to live and work in the towers and houses they create.
