My kindergarten class is moving and growing. Each day, I remind them that they are getting ready for first grade and each day they rise to the challenge. Soon, we are getting ready to move into studying blends and digraphs. Although, I think my students are ready for this new learning, it can be challenging for some. I would like to give my students activities to practice writing and reading blends and digraphs. These activities are simple and to the point. They are colorful and will keep my team interested and focused.
Working with a partner is one of the most effective and engaging strategies to master blends and digraphs.
They enjoy their time together working with each other. These activities will allow for motivating partner work. While students are focused on these engaging activities, I will be targeting specific skills in small groups to move my students toward our goal of getting prepared and ready for first grade. I am so excited for this project to go live. Thank you for any and all donations to this project for my class that LOVES to learn!
