This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students make my teaching career worthwhile despite the nonstop demands in the field. I can always count on my students to put a smile on my face when they enter the classroom. Their bright faces along with their sweet words are the highlight of my day. My students work so hard to learn new things at such a young age. It’s amazing to see how much my students have grown in just a few months. My students are always ready to learn.
My Project
I am a preschool teacher currently teaching a blended learning classroom. The blended learning model allows the teacher to teach remotely and in person at the same time. With so many restrictions with Covid, this is the best teaching model at this time. Although my students are so young, I have seen so much growth. My students have beat the odds during this trying time and have adapted to this new norm. With this new norm, I had to adjust the way I teach, which includes providing individual supplies for students in-person and virtual to maintain social distancing. Although I have some students in person, they have a limited amount of time in school and need individual supplies. I am asking for donations in an effort to ensure that my students receive the best education during this trying time.
