My Students
My students are children with disabilities who spend 50% of their school day in special education classroom (resource room), and 50% of the day in the general education setting.
This school year, I will introduce the blended learning method ( this is the method of combining traditional face to face learning with the online learning).
I will register all my students in google classroom. This will help them access and do academic tasks, quizzes, and other academic activities online in the classroom, and wherever they are.
Additionally their parents will be able to access their children's google account, see the assignments/homework, quizzes and examples to follow. They can also interact with the teacher and their peers while doing their homework.
My Project
The materials, chrome books and head phones that I am requesting for will be used to improve students' learning experiences in the classroom and all other environments that the students have access to electronic devices and internet access.
I have registered all the student google classroom.
With google classroom my students will interact with me on the smart board using their chrome book. They will use the device to do podcast, research information, do instant quizzes that I can use to check for mastery immediately, and do other academic activities online. The head phones will be used to watch and listen to educational you tube videos and do activities as needed.
Most importantly, this will give them the opportunity to familiarized themselves with using technology to learn.
