Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a third-year fifth grade teacher, I see that my students need one more year to feel safe and welcome. They need one more year of having one set room that feels like home before the go to middle school where they will have many more classes and many more students in their classes.
I love being able to see my students connect with each other through learning and seeing them grow and become ready for middle school, but, most of all, I love to see my students come to my classroom and know that they can be themselves.
