My students are imaginative and fun-loving kids. They come from low-income households and have not had many of the world experiences that others students have experienced.
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions!
They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day, ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
Despite the hardships with switching from hybrid learning to 100% virtual learning, to back to hybrid, they are still eager learners. Hopefully we will be 100% in person and stay that way all year.
My Project
For most of my students, this is their first experience in school. These supplies will help my students start the year with the supplies they need to be successful. The notebooks and journals will help them become better writers. The bags and pencil boxes will allow them to each have their own personal containers for their supplies, and the dry erase markers will allow them to work independently, yet correct work easily. Beginning the year not knowing if we can share supplies again is difficult. Kindergartners need hands on activities and all of the basic supplies. The book and magnetic ten frames will be great visuals to help the students adjust to school.
Kindergartners just want to have fun and learn all day long.
They are a great positive energy for all. Please help me get them the supplies they need to be successful and maintain that positive energy they possess.
