My Project
The requested materials will be used to make blankets for the children and teenagers staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities while they wait for their loved ones to get out of the hospital.
The blankets will be offered to families going through difficult times, hopefully bringing some comfort to the children who spent time at the Ronald McDonald House.
Doing these blankets will help students at the WCHS think of others and develop empathy for what other people go through. It will also help them develop gratitude for the blessings they do have in their lives.
In addition to health benefits, giving service to others grants people a sense of purpose and bettering the community.
