My Project

The items from this project will center around our Black History Month Celebration. Our school is named after a famous person and an icon in the history of Black Portland. We are a proud Black Legacy school, and will honor our namesake and other important figures in Black history in the month of February (and every month!).

Our goals for this project is to use the items for a school-wide Black History Month celebration and also to use for our annual door decorating contest.

With these supplies, we will have materials to decorate doors (including information and literature on esteemed and notable figures in Black History, and some snacks to serve during our celebration.
