This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is full of books about all types genres and topics, but something it has been lacking is some educational books on influential black leaders. I want to provide students with the ability to explore books that have historical figures that are important to learn about in the present.

I would like to fill my library with books about important African American heros that will help students find ways to celebrate Black History month.

I want to provide my students with learning opportunities about people from different cultures and backgrounds. It will help them make connections they will remember for a lifetime.
