Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we're embarking on a journey to enrich the educational experience for our students through more culturally relevant materials and activities.
The inclusion of Black History Month books and activities will broaden our students' horizons.
By exploring the rich history and achievements of African Americans, we aim to foster a culturally aware and inclusive learning environment, instilling a sense of pride and understanding.
With additional art supplies, creativity becomes a powerful tool for self-expression and cognitive development. Students will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity, experiment with various artistic mediums, and develop critical thinking skills through engaging in hands-on projects.
Additionally, We are hoping to have a Valentine's Day celebration. This celebration will provide students with an opportunity to teach important values. Through engaging activities, we'll emphasize the significance of kindness, empathy, and positive relationships, contributing to the social and emotional growth of our students.
