This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We celebrate Black History once a year. What if we could learn and celebrate Black History all year long? It is possible by providing students with books about Black History written by Black authors to promote inclusivity.
Students should have access to Black History books every 24/7/365 days.
Having books that represent and inform others about the Black community is part of learning to be inclusive. It is part of having a well-rounded education. The students will be able to check out the books and take them home to read with their families. Imagine the impact they will have.
