it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to school every day ready to learn and explore. My students need mentor texts to explore African American artists, architects, and authors. My students will read books such as A Crown of Stories: The Life and Language of Beloved Writer Toni Morrison, Ablaze with Color: A Story of Painter Alma Thomas and My Daddy Is a Cowboy: A Picture Book. These books will be used throughout the school year to study people, regional history, and events.
