This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we believe that a nourished mind is a ready-to-learn mind. Many of my students come to school without snacks, which can make it difficult for them to stay focused and engaged during our literacy and tutoring sessions.
We’re requesting a variety of snacks—including Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Mix, Ritz Bits Cheese Crackers, Gimme Organic Seaweed, and Nilla Wafers—to keep our students energized throughout the day.
These snacks will help create a supportive classroom environment where students can concentrate on strengthening their reading comprehension, building their writing skills, and participating fully in bilingual literacy activities.
With your support, we can provide our students with the fuel they need to stay engaged and excited about learning, one book and one snack at a time.
