This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a teacher at Abbotsford Elementary and we are a high need elementary school. Over 80% of our students come from low socioeconomic status. Many families face challenges on affording basic needs, let alone birthday gifts. We are trying to ease the burden on our families when it comes to birthdays.

Our goal is that every student in the elementary school will receive a birthday gift.

With the generosity of others, we can help make that dream a reality. Please consider helping my students feel loved, and special on their birthdays.
