My Project

Once upon a time there were 3rd graders dreaming of publishing their own fairy tales. These 3rd graders wished for blank story books to share their stories and illustrations.

3rd graders will create their own version of a classic fairy tale.

Students will begin the unit studying the characteristics of classic fairy tales. They will incorporate these elements when writing their own spin on their favorite fairy tale.

This will be the FINAL writing unit of this school year. We plan to celebrate and share our final stories together as a grade.

The third grade will live "happily ever after".
