Help me give my students access to a class pet with a terrarium for a bearded dragon to study body systems, adaptations and genetics! As well as lab kits for hands-on learning!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredible and speak over 30 different languages in my classroom alone. We all bond and have developed relationships through the commonality of science and biology and learning how our bodies work.
Getting the terrarium and lab kits for my classroom will give my students the hands-on learning that they crave and helps them to draw connections between what they already know and what they are learning.
