This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My books entire focus is on literacy and specifically biographies of important people from the past and present. With your donations, my students will complete biography reports on an influential individual. With these books, they will have plenty of options to choose from as they pick an individual to research.

Students will read, take notes, and complete a research project based on the biography they chose.

An art project will also be part of their report.

Each student will present what they learned about their influential individual so all students will walk away with knowing a bit about twenty five important people in our world. Thank you for supporting literacy in my classroom.
