My Students

My students are among the best in the world. They are happy and productive. They work well together and have formed a classroom community. Each day they approach their work with a renewed energy unlike any I have ever seen.

My Project

Each year my students read biographies and do a research project on someone famous. The books that we have are old and dated and I am hoping to supply them with a variety of people to research.

Famous people of all cultures and diversities need to be represented in our selections.

Each child will be able to choose a unique individual and read about them using these books. They will also be able to use the books to identify non-fictional text features. When the research projects are done, we will share them with the rest of the school.
