This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our end of the year project is going to be one for the record books. Students are going to read a biography about a chosen scientist and create a lab coat to display their information.

Providing these engaging biographies will encourage students to learn information outside of Google.

Students will learn how to look for information outside of the internet. This will encourage students to learn to read for learning.

The fabric markers will allow students to permanently decorate a lab coat to display the information they have learned about their scientist rather than using a tri-fold board or other medium.
