My students need two Production of Biodiesel Lab kits.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Gaul's classroom raised $152
This project is fully funded
I teach science in a small, rural high school. Most of my students come from lower, socio-economic backgrounds. Because our county is rural with a low tax base there are not a lot of extra funds for science beyond the very basics.
We want to prepare our students for life in the real world after high school. We want to make sure that they are ready for whatever they face in college or in the job market.
Alternative energy sources are going to play an important part in my students' futures. I want them to know what some of the possible sources of sustainable energy are. I want them to be able to analyze the pros and cons of each. These will be the decisions that they will be called on to make as members of their community and their country. I want them to be well informed citizens ready and able to make these decisions on what we will use to fuel our cars, homes and businesses in the future.
Talking about alternative energy does not have the impact that actually seeing examples in a hands-on format does.
The resources I need so that all of my students can participate are two Biodiesel Production kits. This will provide the materials I need for all of my classes.
With these resources I can provide a hands-on experience that will have a lasting impact on my science students.
I need your help to provide the two Biodiesel Production kits to make this project possible.
