My students need bins to help organize books according to their reading levels. We also need a paper cutter to trim paper for class/student projects.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom consists of students meeting daily objectives and goals in the areas of phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, grammar, writing, and math.

I have a group of 23 1st graders.

These are the most hard working 1st graders that I know of. They are always eager to learn and ready to work hard to reach their goals. My school consists of exceptional educators who are determine to help students be life long learners

My Project

With these book bins, my students will have easy access to books at their reading level. The bins will be used to organized books by students' reading levels so that students have easier access to books that they can read. The paper cutter will help students create a variety of art projects as well.

The donations to this project will improve my classroom environment by reducing students fear of getting a book that is too difficult for them to read.

Having a group of struggling readers, I feel these donations will help my students out when they need to pick books at their level to read in or outside of the classroom. My students love art so the paper cutter is a must for projects that require trimming.
