Bins for Better Access: Supporting Our School Clothing Closet

Help me give my students access to a functional and organized clothing closet to ensure clothes stay neat, clean, and protected.

My Project

At our school, we believe that communities are designed to support and help one another. This year we created a clothing closet to provide items for students and their families who might be in need of clothing articles they cannot purchase due to financial hardships or economic inequities. Almost all of our items are donations from our own staff and families and has provided us with an incredibly vast apparel supply to provide for those who need it!

To better serve students and their families through our school clothing closet, we are seeking support to acquire storage bins that will help us organize and maintain the donated apparel.

Currently, the lack of adequate storage makes it difficult to keep items sorted by size and type, which can create barriers for those in urgent need of clothing. With proper storage solutions, we can create a clean, accessible, and dignified space that allows students and families to quickly find what they need.
