My Students
I have been delighted with the most ambitious, hardworking, and persistent kindergartners in the Pacific Northwest. This unique bunch came together to create our integrated kindergarten program. This program is comprised of students with special needs and typically developing peers working together to navigate the wonderful land of kindergarten.
We are a community of thoughtful, intentional, and inclusive citizens who value and appreciate the individual needs of each person that walks through our door.
We are accomplishing more than academics, we are striving for loving and intellectual community members.
I am so thankful for my class, they are ready and eager for any challenge I bring forth. They explore, create, and engage in every activity. The smiles and laughter make each day worth it. Watching them grow and learn has been the highlight of my year.
My Project
I am asking for individual bins for students to keep materials at their desks. Coming out of the pandemic, students will continue to hold on to materials and have their own supplies.
Providing our class with these bins will not only help our incoming class of kindergartners but additional students over the next several years.
These bins are sturdy, durable, and just the right size. I borrowed a couple from another teacher and fell in love! Now our class needs a set of its own. Who knew you could make such a difference with just a set of bins!
