I have an amazing class of 20 active and ambitious first graders who come from very diverse backgrounds. My students are always eager to learn and love coming to school. I feel we have had a tight bond, and we are like family!
We are always learning to be kind and compassionate learners!
We work hard and get a lot of things accomplished during our day! They are very active, so it helps to include lots of movement throughout the day!
My Project
I have never in my wildest dreams thought I would have to teach like this. I’m in need of bins to help give students their own space and way to store their own materials and games! I want my kids to still be able to play, but I need to still have some space while they do! Playing is a huge part of learning social skills in first grade . Also book bins will help them keep their own books in a safe space:) I’m hoping this helps them with social distancing and loving school:)
