This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a high school accounting teacher, I want to provide my students with professional, tangible workbooks they can engage with in class and take home for review and practice. Unfortunately, the current cost of digital textbooks is far beyond our budget.

That’s why I’m requesting a 21-Hole Comb Binding Machine (450-sheet capacity) and accessories.

With this machine, I’ll be able to print, organize, and bind custom accounting workbooks for a fraction of the cost. Not only will this allow us to meet curriculum standards, but it will also let me tailor content specifically for my students — including practice problems, visuals, vocabulary, and bilingual content for English language learners.

This project will save our program over 97% in material costs compared to digital licenses, while providing a more effective and personal learning experience.
